SPRING AWAKENING FEST - BARRY'S PT RD

This weekend sees the inaugural 'Spring Awakening Festival' at Barry's Point road. A celebration of the change of season and the imminent onslaught of all things motorcycling. The Cycletreads team will be joined by former world champion Graeme Crosby, signing his book and sampling the BBQ and entertainment provided.

There is live racing right outside! Admittedly 'slow races' where fine balance sees the victor able to cover the course in the slowest possible time. Lamb on a spit, and an international collection of foods and drink including African Biltong and Droewors and perhaps even some Bulgarian Ambers and African refreshments on display.

Videos and stories of daring do will almost certainly waft from the groups within. Hyosung New Zealand will have a couple of their impossibly inexpensive road race machines on display. Road, Adventure, curious commuter riders and racers, one and all are invited to join in the fun. The trouble begins after 10:30 this Saturday.
