Match your complexion to the star and find your cosmetics kit to give you a glamorous glow.

NICOLE KIDMAN
Red hair usually goes hand-in-hand with a pale complexion - often the perfect palette for a number of make-up looks.

Keep it simple, like Nicole Kidman, with a liquid eyeliner for creating a subtle winged eye look, black mascara to darken fair lashes and bring out the eyes, and a pale pink blusher on cheeks.

But go bold with lipstick - red and deep pink shades work well.

RACHEL WEISZ

Dark hair and pale skin make for a striking look that suits a strong eyeshadow palette and lip colour, but not at the same time.

An eyebrow pencil can emphasise strong brows and frame the face. You can go to town with smoky eyeshadow looks, like Rachel Weisz.

Use a highlighter to bring out the cheekbones and the arch of the eyebrows. But keep the lips a more neutral tone with this look.

CAMERON DIAZ
Blonde-haired and blue-eyed, Cameron Diaz keeps her look simple, with a dewy foundation to give her skin a natural glow and soft peach blusher or bronzer.
Use lots of mascara to bring out the eye colour.

Blondes can play with lip colour, but make sure you use a great lip base.

Cameron varies between soft pink hues and strong red lips for a bolder look.

HALLE BERRY
A glowing complexion like Halle Berry's often doesn't need a lot of make-up.

A good foundation is key - Mac and Bobbi Brown have good shades for darker skins.

Adventurous colours with the eyes or lips work well, but halle opts for a simple black eyeliner, often slightly smudged, with lashings of mascara.

Complete the look with glossy lips - The Body Shop has a great range.

CHERYL COLE
Cheryl Cole's look is all about the eyes.

Her dark hair and olive complexion mean she can get away with false eyelashes and darker eye make-up - those with fairer complexions struggle to pull this off.

In summer, a good bronzer is essential.

Remember this skin tone really suits coral and pink shades, so mix and match the nail and lip colour for a striking Club Tropicana feel.
