Musical lover: Actress Jennifer Ellison leaves the Adelphi Theatre in London after enjoying a performance of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Love Never Dies

Jennifer Ellison is clearly not one to feel homesick.

The Liverpudlian lass was snapped enjoying another night out in London yesterday and looked like she was having a great time.

The actress, 27, beamed from ear to ear for the cameras as she left the Adelphi Theatre and appeared to have thoroughly enjoyed Andrew Lloyd Webber's Love Never Dies.

Dressed in a clingy turquoise dress and towering nude Louboutins, it was her second theatre visit since she got to the capital ten days ago, having gone to see Legally Blonde almost as soon as she arrived.

She recently revealed she is giving up doing raunchy photoshoots for lads' mags in a bid to carve a career as a serious actress.

There has been speculation in recent weeks that Jennifer has been in talks to take over from Sheridan Smith in the musical's lead role as Elle Woods, which led to even more mutterings that she has been in London doing her West End research.

But speaking to whatsonstage.com, a spokesperson for the show said Jennifer was one of many people approached about the show’s future but there were 'no plans for anyone to leave in the autumn'.

This autumn is also the time that the former Brookside star will join the touring cast of Calendar Girls when it arrives in her native Liverpool in September.

Speaking to The Sun, she revealed she is comfortable about appearing naked on stage because there will be 'strategically placed props' to save her blushes.

Other upcoming projects for the actress include playing trainee assassin Jane alongside Sex And The City's 'Mr Big' Chris Noth in Sure Fire Hit, which starts filming in September.

Jennifer was more than likely taking a just personal interest in Love Never Dies, having starred in the film of the prequel.

The actress appeared alongside Gerard Butler and Emily Rossum in the big screen adaptation of Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera in 2004.

Love Never Dies is the sequel to Phantom and is set, according to Lloyd Webber, 'ten years roughly after the end of the original Phantom'.

Jennifer has been accompanied down to London by her husband Robert Tickle and their five-month-old son Bobby.
